As a first here at Life’s Not Simple, Wall and I are trying our hands at translating Japanese manga. There are a lot of popular groups of scanners and translators out there who produce great work, and we’re both the type of people to see such work and think, “Hey we can do that!”
So to prove that we can, I am proud to announce that we will be translating volume one of Bird’s the Word (Sakuya-Maru ???), a new manga that just began its run in the magazine ‘Surpreme Comic’. The first volume is forty-five pages, and over the month we’ll be translating and posting sets of pages, with the whole she-bang packaged together at the end.
I’m definitely looking forward to it, and I know Wall doesn’t even enjoy manga anymore (wait…), so I hope you will enjoy it too! And without further ado, I present the first few pages of Bird’s the Word.
